Police Identify Whakatāne Crash Victim, Seek Witnesses
Police have identified the victim of a fatal crash in the Eastern Bay of Plenty as Ngahina Takarangi, a 44-year-old resident of Whakatāne. The incident occurred on the evening of October 24, 2023, when emergency services responded to reports of a vehicle that had collided with the Whakatāne River.
