McInnes Seals Championship Title as QORC Concludes in Dukhan
The 2025 Qatar Off-Road Championship (QORC) concluded on a high note in Dukhan, where Round 6, known as Baja, showcased exhilarating racing across the desert landscape. A competitive field of 22 motorcycles and 13 cars participated in the season finale, which delivered fast-paced action and intense rivalries.
Alex McInnes emerged victorious in the overall bike category, capping off an impressive campaign that also secured him the overall Moto title. His consistent performances throughout the season highlighted his skill and determination, making him a standout competitor.
Strong Performances Across Categories
The event featured notable performances from various category winners. Nasser Al Abdulla, Mohammed Al Kubaisi, and veteran rider Allan Ramsing all showcased their capabilities, further enriching the competition. In the car section, Mohammed Al Marri and co-driver Szymon Gospodarczk topped the overall classification for the Dukhan round, marking a successful finish to their season.
Aside from individual victories, the final round confirmed new champions in the various car categories. The Italian duo of Camelia Liparoti and Erika Mingozzi clinched the Class 1 Cars championship title after a robust season filled with strong performances. In Class 2, Nouef Al Sowaidi and his Lithuanian co-driver Aisvydas Paliukenas were crowned champions, while the Class 3 title was awarded to the Saudi pair of Motab Al Shammari and Badr Al Hamdan.
The event not only highlighted the competitive spirit of the participants but also showcased the growing popularity of off-road racing in the region. As the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation concluded this successful championship, anticipation builds for the next season, where fans and competitors alike look forward to more thrilling moments in the desert.
