East Auckland Optometrists Rebrand to Emphasize Care and Service
The renowned optometry practice in East Auckland has officially changed its name to iCare Botany Optometrists, emphasizing its commitment to patient care. Previously known as Visique Botany Optometrists, the establishment is located in the business park on Bishop Dunn Place, Flat Bush. The new name reflects the values of integrity and sincerity that owner-optometrist David Lee and dispensing optician Tanny Chin hold dear regarding their clients’ eye health.
The focus on “care” underscores the practice’s dedication to providing high-quality service and professionalism. This includes a thorough approach to meeting clients’ vision needs, which encompasses everything from selecting the right eyeglass frames to ensuring precise prescriptions for lenses.
Despite the rebranding, Lee assures clients that the quality of service will remain unchanged. “Nothing has changed. We will still be delivering the same excellent professional service and products under the same ownership,” he stated.
To celebrate the new name, iCare Botany Optometrists is offering a special promotion: a 50 percent discount on premium eyeglass lenses until December 23, 2023. These lenses are designed to be lightweight, durable, and come with an anti-reflection coating for added comfort.
Specialized Eye Care Services
The practice also specializes in diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, including cataracts, macular degeneration, and dry eye syndrome. Chin emphasizes the importance of addressing dry eye issues during examinations, as they can lead to inaccurate eyeglass prescriptions if untreated.
iCare Botany Optometrists focuses particularly on the eye health of children, offering numerous examinations aimed at myopia control, or short-sightedness. “We try to control the eyes, so they don’t get worse over the years,” Chin explained. The clinic provides various treatments, including Ortho K lenses, eye drops, special lenses, and red-light therapy. Notably, they are the only dispensing optometrists in the Botany area to offer red-light therapy.
As the festive season approaches, the team at iCare Botany Optometrists extends warm wishes to its loyal clients and potential new customers. The practice will close for a holiday break on December 24, 2023, and reopen on January 6, 2026.
Located at Unit 11, 2 Bishop Dunn Place, Flat Bush, interested individuals can reach iCare Botany Optometrists at 09 274 9839 for inquiries or appointments. The rebranding and commitment to care mark an exciting new chapter for this esteemed optometry practice.
