Qatar Off-Road Championship 2025 Crowns Top Competitors in Thrilling Finale
The 2025 Qatar Off-Road Championship (QORC) season concluded in Doha, showcasing an exhilarating series of races that culminated in intense competition and remarkable achievements across various categories. Organized by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation, the championship attracted participants from across the globe, highlighting the growing popularity of off-road racing in the region.
Motorcycle Titles Decided
In the motorcycle division, British rider Alex McInnes secured the overall Moto title, finishing ahead of competitors from the UAE and Portugal. Mohammad Al Balooshi of the UAE claimed second place, while Michael Anderson from Portugal rounded out the podium.
In Moto Class 2, UAE’s Abdulaziz Ahli emerged victorious, with Nasser Al Abdulla from Qatar and UAE’s Mansoor Swaidan Al Suwaidi following closely behind. The competition remained fierce throughout the season, showcasing the skill and determination of all participants.
Al Balooshi also excelled by winning the Moto Survival Trophy, finishing ahead of McInnes and compatriot Abdulla Lanjawi. McInnes further distinguished himself by taking home the Moto Baja Trophy, beating out Philip Horlemann from Britain and Thomas Cross from Australia.
Four-Wheel Competitors Shine
The four-wheel divisions also saw captivating performances. Italian competitor Camelia Liparoti secured the championship in Class 1 Cars. Nouef Al Sowaidi won in Class 2, and Saudi Arabia’s Motab Al Shammari finished first in Class 3.
Co-driver titles were awarded to Abdulaziz Al Jabri from Qatar (Class 1), Aisvydas Paliukenas from Lithuania (Class 2), Bader Al Hamdan from Saudi Arabia (Class 3), and Pierre Delorme from France (Class 4). These accomplishments reflect the diverse talent present in the championship.
In the Auto Baja Trophy, Qatar’s Ahmed Al Kuwari triumphed in Class 1, while Al Sowaidi secured another victory in Class 2. Saudi Arabia’s Omar Abdulleh Allahim took home the win in Class 3. Additionally, the Car Rally Trophy saw Ibrahim Al Abdulghani, Al Sowaidi, UAE’s Hassan Al Baloushi, and Qatar’s Rashid Juma Al Mohannadi each claim titles across the four classes.
The successful conclusion of the championship highlights the dedication of the athletes and organizers alike, paving the way for future events in the region. As the QORC continues to grow, it promises to remain a significant event on the international off-road racing calendar.
