QE Health in Rotorua to Close Permanently After Liquidation
The iconic wellness institution, QE Health, located in Rotorua, has announced that it will permanently close its doors following a liquidation process initiated last month. The closure is set to take effect on December 19, as confirmed in a recent post on the organization’s Facebook page.
The announcement highlighted that all attempts to find a buyer to rescue the business were unsuccessful. “Unfortunately, all efforts to find a buyer for the business and to save the organisation haven’t been successful,” the post stated. This decision marks the end of an era for the popular wellness center, which has served the community for many years.
For customers who have paid for gym memberships or spa subscriptions, the organization has advised them to either collect a claim form at the reception or reach out directly to the appointed liquidator for assistance. This step is essential for those seeking reimbursement or further information regarding their memberships.
In light of the closure, many in the community have expressed their disappointment, as QE Health has been a significant part of Rotorua’s wellness landscape. The institution offered a range of health and wellness services, contributing to the overall well-being of its patrons.
As the liquidation process unfolds, local residents and former customers are left reflecting on the impact of this closure on the community. The announcement serves as a reminder of the challenges faced by businesses in the current economic climate.
