Tragic ATV Crash Claims Life at Foxton Beach

A tragic incident at Foxton Beach resulted in the death of one individual following an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash on March 15, 2024. Emergency services responded to the scene around 13:10 local time, confirming that two people were involved in the accident.
According to a spokeswoman for the New Zealand Police, one occupant of the ATV died at the scene, while the other escaped uninjured. The crash occurred near the surf lifesaving club, prompting a swift response from local emergency teams. Hato Hone St John was also present, dispatching one ambulance to assist with the situation.
