DOHA: As the new season of La Liga launches today, beIN Media Group has confirmed its role as the exclusive broadcaster of Spanish football across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This announcement marks the continuation of a partnership that has thrived for over two decades, beginning in 2003.

beIN will air all 380 matches of the upcoming La Liga season live on its flagship beIN Sports channels. Commentary will be available in Arabic, English, and French, ensuring accessibility across all 24 MENA markets, including Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia.

Season Kick-Off and Anticipation

The season-opening match features Girona facing Rayo Vallecano at 20:00 MECCA, broadcast on beIN Sports 3. Viewers will also benefit from live studio coverage led by prominent Saudi presenter Tariq Al-Hammad, with expert analysis from Kuwaiti commentator Tariq Al Jalahma and Moroccan football legend Youssef Chippo.

This season, much of the discussion centers around whether Real Madrid, now coached by Xabi Alonso, can challenge last year’s champions, Barcelona. Madrid finished only four points behind Barcelona last season, a gap that fans hope will narrow as the competition unfolds. Barcelona’s campaign kicks off tomorrow against Mallorca.

While Real Madrid’s first match is scheduled for Tuesday against Osasuna at 21:30 MECCA, their city rivals, Atletico Madrid, will start their season on Sunday away at Espanyol at 22:30 MECCA. Atletico aims to improve on last year’s third-place finish and regain their position at the top of the league.

Record Viewership and Broadcaster Commitment

Last season, beIN Sports attracted a remarkable 2.5 billion cumulative viewers for its La Liga coverage across the MENA region, highlighting the immense popularity of the league. This season, beIN reaffirms its commitment to delivering comprehensive coverage of Spanish football, ensuring that fans do not miss a moment of the action.

With this extensive coverage, beIN Sports continues to solidify its status as the premier broadcaster of La Liga across the MENA region, catering to football fans eager to follow their favorite teams and players throughout the season.
