beIN Sports Launches Live Coverage of La Liga in MENA Region
As the new season of La Liga begins today, beIN Media Group has announced its comprehensive live coverage plans, reaffirming its position as the exclusive broadcaster of Spanish football across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This partnership, which spans over two decades, ensures that fans will have access to all 380 matches from the upcoming season on the flagship beIN Sports channels.
This season, viewers can expect commentary in Arabic, English, and French, available across all 24 MENA markets. The opening match features Girona facing Rayo Vallecano at 20:00 MECCA on beIN Sports 3.
New Season Dynamics and Expectations
As anticipation builds for the new season, much of the discussion centers around whether Real Madrid’s new coach, Xabi Alonso, can bridge the gap with last year’s champions, Barcelona. Last season, Madrid finished just four points behind Barcelona, who are set to kick off their campaign tomorrow against Mallorca.
Live studio coverage will begin at 20:00 MECCA, hosted by the well-known Saudi presenter Tariq Al-Hammad. He will be joined by analysts Tariq Al Jalahma from Kuwait and Youssef Chippo from Morocco. Commentary will be available in both Arabic and English.
While Real Madrid will not play until Tuesday when they host Osasuna at 21:30 MECCA, city rivals Atletico Madrid will start their season on Sunday against Espanyol at 22:30 MECCA, aiming to improve on last year’s third-place finish.
Last season saw a remarkable 2.5 billion cumulative viewers tuning in to beIN’s La Liga broadcasts across MENA. With this extensive coverage, beIN will cater to fans in countries including Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and more, ensuring that the excitement of La Liga reaches every corner of the region.
Exclusive Broadcast Across MENA
As the exclusive broadcaster, beIN Sports is committed to delivering high-quality coverage of all 380 La Liga matches across its platforms. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to engage sports fans and solidify its role as the leading sports network in the MENA region. The partnership with La Liga not only enhances the viewing experience but also highlights beIN’s long-standing dedication to providing premium sports content.
As the season progresses, fans can look forward to a mix of exhilarating matches, expert analysis, and engaging commentary that bring Spanish football to life across the MENA region. With a rich history of broadcasting, beIN Sports continues to be at the forefront of sports entertainment.
