beIN Sports Launches Exclusive Coverage for La Liga in MENA

DOHA: As the new season of La Liga begins today, beIN Media Group has reaffirmed its position as the exclusive broadcaster of Spanish football in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The network will provide live coverage of all 380 matches throughout the season, continuing a partnership that has flourished for over two decades since its inception in 2003.
Comprehensive Coverage Across the MENA Region
beIN Sports will air the matches on its flagship channels, offering commentary in Arabic, English, and French. The network’s reach spans all 24 MENA markets, ensuring that fans from Algeria to Yemen can engage with the action. The season kicks off with Girona facing Rayo Vallecano at 20:00 MECCA, broadcast live on beIN Sports 3.
As anticipation builds for the season, much of the focus is on whether Real Madrid and their new coach, Xabi Alonso, can challenge last year’s champions, Barcelona. The previous season saw Los Merengues finish just four points behind their rivals, who begin their campaign tomorrow against Mallorca.
beIN Sports will also feature live studio coverage, hosted by renowned Saudi presenter Tariq Al-Hammad. Analysis will be provided by Kuwaiti expert Tariq Al Jalahma and Moroccan former player Youssef Chippo. Viewers can tune in at 20:00 MECCA for insights and match commentary in both Arabic and English.
Season Outlook and Viewership Impact
While Real Madrid’s first match is scheduled for Tuesday against Osasuna at 21:30 MECCA, city rivals Atlético Madrid will kick off their season on Sunday, facing Espanyol at 22:30 MECCA. Atlético will be looking to enhance their performance after finishing third last season.
The previous season witnessed a staggering 2.5 billion cumulative viewers engaging with beIN’s La Liga coverage across the MENA region, underscoring the network’s significance in the sports broadcasting landscape.
With its comprehensive coverage of all La Liga matches exclusive to the MENA territories, beIN Sports continues to be the go-to destination for football fans eager to follow their favorite teams and players.
