Search Underway for Missing Auckland Woman with Dementia

The New Zealand Police, alongside family members, are actively searching for an Auckland woman with dementia who has gone missing from her care facility in Mt Albert. The woman, known as Linda but referred to by her middle name, Anne, was last seen at approximately 11:31 AM on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, on Allendale Rd.
Police have expressed concern for her welfare due to her condition. Anne’s family is desperate for any information that may assist in locating her. In a statement, the police described her appearance at the time of her disappearance: she was last seen wearing black pants, grey mid-calf Uggs, a cream hoodie, and a pink shirt underneath.
Community Mobilizes for Search Efforts
Local community members have joined the search, helping to distribute flyers and share information on social media platforms. The collaborative effort aims to spread awareness and encourage anyone who may have seen Anne to come forward with details.
