Black Ferns Announce Squad for World Cup Quarterfinal Against South Africa

The Black Ferns have officially announced their team for the quarterfinal match against South Africa in the 2025 Rugby World Cup. The highly anticipated game is set to take place at Sandy Park in Exeter at 12:00 AM on September 14, 2025. This matchup promises to be a critical moment for both teams as they strive for a place in the semifinals.

Returning to the lineup are key players Kaipo Olsen-Baker and Amy du Plessis, both of whom are coming back from injuries sustained during the pool stage. Olsen-Baker will bolster the loose forward position, while du Plessis adds experience to the centre. Notably, Stacey Waaka will also start in her 30th test, further enhancing the team’s depth.
