IPC Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has launched its festive campaign, titled ‘Once Upon A Christmas Dream,’ aimed at promoting thoughtful gifting during the holiday season. Running from November 20, 2025, to January 4, 2026, this initiative embraces the spirit of the season, encouraging visitors to create meaningful memories with their loved ones.

The campaign aligns with IPC’s motto, “The Lagom Life, It’s Just Right,” highlighting the essence of balanced living. Visitors will experience a transformation of the shopping centre into a winter wonderland inspired by Scandinavian traditions. The concourse will feature a charming Swedish Winter Market, complete with authentic wooden houses, rustic textures, and warm lighting that evoke the enchanting feel of Scandinavia.

Central to this festive atmosphere is the iconic Dala Horse, which will play a significant role as Santa’s reindeer, bringing festive cheer to families and individuals alike. The market will also showcase intricate details, such as Tomte figurines and other Nordic elements, enhancing the overall experience.

In addition to the market, IPC Shopping Centre has curated various interactive spaces designed to engage visitors. Highlights include a bustling marketplace, a creative craft corner, and aesthetically pleasing photo spots, all intended to foster a magical Christmas experience. IPC’s beloved mascots, Tomte and the Swedish Maiden, will greet guests, creating opportunities for delightful encounters and impromptu surprises.

Children who are members of IPC’s Små Club can participate in complimentary craft workshops by pre-registering via the IPC App. These workshops will include making festive ornaments, decorating gingerbread house bags, and creating New Year’s Celebration Crackers. Such activities are designed to inspire creativity and encourage family bonding, reinforcing the idea that some of the best gifts come from shared moments.

IPC is committed to sustainability this holiday season, incorporating reusable and recyclable elements into its festive décor. Many structures are crafted from untreated wood, while decorative items are designed for reuse. After the campaign, IPC will collaborate with partners to responsibly recycle materials, ensuring that the festivities are both joyful and environmentally considerate.

From November 20, 2025, to March 1, 2026, Tack Club members can earn double Tack Points via the IPC App for recycling selected materials at the Recycling and Buy-Back Centre. Points include 20 points per kg for paper and cardboard, 40 points for metal, and 100 points for aluminum.

Additionally, visitors are encouraged to participate in the “Bring Your Own Container (BYOC) Reward Programme.” Members can redeem rewards by using 5 Tack Points to receive discounts on their takeaway orders at participating outlets. Rewards include RM10 e-vouchers for a minimum spend of RM200 and a RM30 e-voucher alongside a large-capacity bag for a minimum spend of RM1,000.

Karyn Lim, General Manager of IPC Shopping Centre, expressed the campaign’s vision, stating, “At IPC Shopping Centre, we believe that the ‘just-right’ Christmas gift goes beyond what can be bought or wrapped. It’s about thoughtfulness and finding that special something.” She emphasized that the initiative is designed to help every visitor discover what feels meaningful to them.

With its blend of engaging workshops, sustainable festive setups, and thoughtful shopping rewards, IPC Shopping Centre invites the community to celebrate a Christmas filled with authentic Nordic warmth. The centre aims to provide a platform for visitors to find the perfect gift and create lasting memories with their families.
