TeamViewer’s AI Adoption Surges with 400% Growth in Users
TeamViewer, a leader in digital workplace solutions, has reported a remarkable increase in the adoption of its artificial intelligence (AI) offering, which has summarized over 270,000 remote IT support sessions since its promotion just three months ago. The growth in session summaries surged by 400% from July to October 2025, highlighting the platform’s rapid integration into business processes.
From August to October 2025, the number of session summaries generated quadrupled compared to the previous three months. Approximately 10,000 customers have signed up to use TeamViewer’s AI features, resulting in a 60% increase in active AI users from September to October. Customers have reported significant efficiency gains, including saving 5 to 10 minutes of documentation work per IT ticket and achieving up to 25% faster issue resolution.
Enhanced IT Management and Customer Experience
TeamViewer is well-positioned to leverage its unique proprietary data to enhance its AI capabilities further. The company has over 645,000 paying customers and facilitates more than 1 billion remote connections each year. With access to telemetry data from millions of devices, TeamViewer’s Digital Employee Experience (DEX) client helps monitor device health and performance while automatically resolving IT issues in real time.
Mei Dent, Chief Product and Technology Officer at TeamViewer, emphasized the company’s evolution over the past two decades. “By integrating 1E’s real-time auto-remediation capabilities and evolving our core business to become proactive and autonomous, we are building the go-to company for IT support and endpoint management in the era of agentic AI,” Dent stated. The rapid adoption of AI solutions demonstrates the tangible return on investment (ROI) for customers.
Future Innovations and Upcoming Events
TeamViewer plans to showcase its complete AI offering at the upcoming Microsoft Ignite conference in San Francisco, which will take place from November 18 to 25, 2025. The company will present its latest innovations, including autonomous AI agents designed for IT support, at booths #5445 and #1527.
Founded in 2005, TeamViewer has become a standard for secure remote access and support, assisting countless users worldwide with IT issues. The company serves a wide range of industries, from small businesses to large enterprises, helping organizations manage digital endpoints securely and effectively.
In fiscal year 2024, TeamViewer achieved a revenue of approximately EUR 671 million. With its headquarters in Göppingen, Germany, the company employs over 1,900 people globally. TeamViewer SE is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and is part of the MDAX index.
