Woqod Closes Nominations for Board of Directors Elections
Qatar Fuel Company, known as WOQOD, has officially closed the nomination period for its Board of Directors, effective at noon on January 8, 2026. This decision follows the Board’s resolution made on November 16, 2025, and adheres to the established timetable for the nomination and election processes.

In a statement regarding the closure, Saad Rashid Al Mohannadi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of WOQOD, emphasized that the Nomination Committee will now review all applications submitted. The committee will evaluate candidates based on the specified terms and conditions.
Following this assessment, the committee will present its findings along with recommendations to the Board of Directors. This meeting is scheduled for January 21, 2026, where the Board will deliberate and make final decisions regarding the nominations.
