Charlie Sheen Reveals Bill Clinton’s Advance on His Girlfriend
Charlie Sheen has revealed in his memoir that former US President Bill Clinton attempted to flirt with his girlfriend, Dolly Fox, during a chance encounter in 1987. The actor, now 60, shared this anecdote in an excerpt from his book, The Book of Sheen, published by People magazine.
The incident occurred while Sheen was filming Three for the Road in Arkansas. At that time, the state’s governor invited Sheen along with his co-stars, Alan Ruck and Kerri Green, for a photo opportunity at the governor’s residence. Sheen described receiving the invitation as “pretty surreal” and decided to bring Fox with him to the meeting.
During the event, Sheen recounted an incident that he found both amusing and uncomfortable. While he was answering a reporter’s question, Ruck overheard Clinton whispering to one of his aides, “Find out what you can about the brunette,” referring to Fox. Sheen noted that Ruck has since maintained that it was an exact quote from Clinton.
“I felt bad for Dolly to be objectified and skeeved-out like that, but still had to take some pride in ‘Bubba’ fancying my gal,” Sheen wrote in his memoir. The revelation adds a personal touch to Sheen’s recollections of his experiences in Hollywood and the unexpected encounters that can arise.
Clinton, who served as the 42nd President of the United States from 1993 to 2001, has been a prominent figure in American politics, and his interactions with celebrities have often drawn public interest. The anecdote provides a glimpse into the dynamics of celebrity culture and the unexpected moments that happen behind the scenes.
The memoir is expected to cover a range of topics from Sheen’s life, detailing his career, personal struggles, and high-profile relationships. As the entertainment world awaits more insights from the book, this particular story about Clinton adds to the intrigue surrounding Sheen’s life and the people he has encountered throughout his career.
Sheen’s candidness about such encounters has further sparked conversations about celebrity interactions and the sometimes surprising connections that can form in the public eye.
