Frankie Venter Unveils New Single ‘Talking to the Walls’ Today

Frankie Venter, the rising pop sensation, has released her latest single, “Talking to the Walls,” today. Following her debut at the Starburst Festival in Sydney and a nomination for Best Pop Artist at the Aotearoa Music Awards, the 18-year-old artist explores themes of heartbreak and emotional vulnerability in this new track.
With a backdrop of a catchy beat and smooth guitar melodies, “Talking to the Walls” reveals Venter’s personal struggles stemming from an emotionally unavailable relationship. The song showcases her ability to blend introspective lyrics with the infectious energy characteristic of her pop style.
Venter co-wrote the single with collaborator Dan Martin and close friend Indyah. This track was among their early creations but remained unreleased for nearly a year. The production credits include renowned LA-based Australian producer M-Phazes, who has collaborated with high-profile artists such as Eminem, Ruel, Teezo, Touchdown, and Lucky Daye.
Reflecting on the song’s significance, Venter commented, “When I listen back to the song, it’s like opening a little time capsule into heartbroken Frankie’s life at the time. Now that I’m over it, I think it’s time to share this super vulnerable part of my life.”
Upcoming Performances and Future Projects
Venter is set to perform at BIGSOUND 2025 in Brisbane this September, joining one of Australia and Aotearoa‘s premier festivals for emerging talent. The release of “Talking to the Walls” marks the beginning of the promotional campaign for her upcoming EP, further solidifying her reputation for crafting exceptional pop hits.
“Talking to the Walls” is now available on all major streaming platforms, inviting listeners to engage with Venter’s narrative and emotional journey. As she continues to evolve as an artist, Venter’s new single represents a significant step forward in her promising career.
