Salman Khan Celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with Family in Mumbai
Salman Khan and his family came together to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi at Arpita Khan’s residence in Mumbai. The festivities unfolded on Wednesday night, where the family participated in traditional rituals, showcasing their devotion and unity. Salman shared a video from the event on his Instagram, highlighting the warmth of the occasion.
In the video, Salma Khan, Salman’s mother, initiated the aarti, followed by his father, Salim Khan. Dressed in a black shirt and beige pants, Salman joined the ritual, surrounded by family members including Arbaaz Khan, Alvira Khan, Atul Agnihotri, and Alizeh Agnihotri. His sister, Arpita Khan, and brother-in-law Aayush Sharma were also present, along with their children, Ayat and Ahil. The gathering was made even more special with the attendance of close family friends Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, who brought their two sons along.
The celebration featured a beautifully decorated idol of Lord Ganesha, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The video concluded with a close-up of the idol, symbolizing the significance of the festival.
Salman Khan’s Upcoming Projects
On the professional front, Salman Khan is set to appear in upcoming projects that showcase his versatility. Following his recent role in AR Murugadoss‘s film Sikandar, he will portray an Indian Army soldier in Apoorva Lakhia‘s film Battle of Galwan. In addition to his film projects, Salman continues to host the 19th season of the reality show Bigg Boss. The show streams digitally on JioCinema at 21:00 and airs on Colors TV at 22:30.
Speaking about the new season, Salman expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I have been a part of Bigg Boss for a very long time now, and as we all know, the show reinvents itself every year. This time, it’s gharwalo ki sarkar. When too many people start pulling the strings, cracks are bound to show, and the house turns into a warzone. Even after so many years, I’m just as excited as the audience to see how it unfolds.”
As the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations highlighted the importance of family and tradition, Salman Khan’s continued success in the entertainment industry reflects his enduring appeal to audiences.
