Social media platform TikTok has announced the nominees for the highly anticipated 2025 TikTok Awards, marking the fifth edition of this annual event that celebrates creators from Australia and New Zealand. The awards honor individuals who utilize the platform to entertain, educate, and inspire their followers. Among the categories, the New Zealand Creator of the Year Award stands out, showcasing local talent and creativity.
Voting for the awards is open to TikTok users, who can cast their votes once a day until November 16. A total of fourteen awards will be determined by public votes, allowing fans to take part in recognizing their favorite creators. The shortlisted nominees for the New Zealand award include five influential figures: Louis Davis (@louisdavis_), The Morning Shift (@themorningshiftshow), Daniel Rankin (@mancancooknz), Brit Cunningham (@brit_cunningham), and Paris Nuku (@parisnuku).
In a celebratory video, Davis expressed his excitement over his nomination.
