Al Ansari and Al Amri Triumph in Qatar Equestrian Tour
DOHA: The fourth round of the ninth edition of the Qatar Equestrian Tour – Longines Hathab commenced yesterday at the Qatar Equestrian Federation’s outdoor arena. The three-day event kicked off with exciting competitions in the Amateur (100cm) and Bronze (120cm) categories.
Highlights from the Opening Day
In the Bronze individual event, Jaber Rashid Al Amri captured first place, riding Apollon and finishing with an impressive time of 57.05 seconds. Khalid Al Hadi followed closely behind, securing second and third positions on his mounts, Capion and Carlton, respectively.
The Amateur category saw Ali Omar Al Ansari take the top spot, completing his round aboard Nikita in a swift 26.66 seconds. He was joined on the podium by Maryam Abdul Karim Abdul on her horse Beyoncé, and Khalifa bin Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, who rode Zion.
Team Competition Results
The team competition featured fierce rivalry, with The Dome claiming victory with a cumulative time of 115.19 seconds. They outperformed teams such as Marwan Al Shaqab and Ajwad, showcasing their skills and coordination.
The event promises more action today, with additional rounds scheduled. Participants and spectators alike eagerly await the continuing excitement of the Qatar Equestrian Tour.
