Doha, Qatar – The latest iteration of the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has been launched, showcasing a bold redesign, improved technology, and greater comfort for drivers and passengers alike. This updated crossover SUV is now available at the Qatar Automobiles Company showrooms located on Salwa Road and in Al Khor.

Striking Design and Performance Enhancements

Developed under the design philosophy of “Daring Grace”, the new Eclipse Cross features an extended body length and a refined exterior that enhances its sporty appeal. With an overall length of 4,545 mm, which is 140 mm longer than the previous model, the SUV showcases a more unified and sophisticated look.

The front of the vehicle incorporates Mitsubishi’s signature Dynamic Shield design, emphasizing its powerful performance. This updated model features new lighting elements, including bold front combination lights and daytime running lights, contributing to an assertive presence on the road.

The rear design has also been refined, merging the double rear windows into a single unit for improved styling and visibility. The iconic three-dimensional taillights are placed higher, providing a distinctive rear look that enhances the vehicle’s overall stance.

Interior Comfort and Versatility

Inside, the Eclipse Cross mirrors the sophistication of its exterior. The updated cabin offers a light grey seat option alongside the existing black, with improved materials including a combination of suede, synthetic leather, and genuine leather. This variety provides a more luxurious feel for occupants.

Rear seat passengers will benefit from enhanced comfort, with larger headrests and nine adjustable seating positions to accommodate personal preferences. The cargo area has also been expanded, capable of fitting up to four golf bags even with five passengers on board. The 60:40 split foldable seatback allows for increased versatility in transporting larger items.

The Eclipse Cross is available in a two-wheel-drive configuration, powered by either a 1.5L DOHC MIVEC turbocharged engine or a 2.0L DOHC MIVEC engine. The MIVEC system, which stands for Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing Electronic Control, enhances the driving experience by delivering dynamic performance.

As Mitsubishi continues to innovate in vehicle design and performance, the new Eclipse Cross stands out as a compelling option for drivers seeking a blend of style, technology, and comfort. With its enhanced features and striking design, the Eclipse Cross is set to make a significant impact in the competitive crossover market.
