Qatar Equestrian Tour Longines Hathab Begins Tomorrow with Elite Competitors
The sixth round of the Qatar Equestrian Tour Longines Hathab for the 2025-2026 season will commence on March 14, 2024, at the Qatar Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon Federation. This prestigious three-day event, organized by the Federation in collaboration with Al-Shaqab, a member of the Qatar Foundation, is set to feature numerous elite riders showcasing their skills.
The competition will kick off with the Amateur Tour, where riders will navigate a course set at a height of 100 cm. Following this, the Silver Tour will challenge participants at a height of 130 cm. As the event progresses, Friday will see the Future Riders Tour cater to younger competitors aged 6 to 12, with a height of 70 cm. This will be succeeded by the Gold Tour, designed for both individual and team riders at a height of 140 cm, and the Open Tour, which will feature a course set at 110 cm.
The tour will conclude on March 16, 2024, with additional rounds, including a Future Riders competition for participants aged 12 to 16 at a height of 90 cm. The Bronze Tour will follow, accommodating both individual and team events at 120 cm, and the prestigious Diamond Tour will finalize the competition at a height of 150 cm.
The Qatar Equestrian Tour Longines Hathab stands as a significant platform for equestrian sports in the region. It plays a vital role in developing local talent by providing high-level competition, allowing riders to gain valuable experience while fostering collaboration among various equestrian stakeholders in Qatar. This event not only highlights the skills of riders but also promotes the sport’s growth within the country.
With an exciting lineup of competitions and a gathering of top riders, the Longines Hathab promises to be a thrilling showcase of equestrian talent and sportsmanship in Qatar.
