The Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) is set to host the MENA Karting Championship Nations Cup for the third consecutive year at the Lusail Karting Circuit from October 21 to 25, 2025. Following the successes of the inaugural event in 2023 and its return in 2024, this year’s championship is expected to showcase an even greater array of regional motorsport talent.

Over 150 Drivers from 18 Nations Compete

This year’s championship will feature more than 150 drivers representing 18 nations across the Middle East and North Africa. Competitors will come from countries such as Qatar, Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Iran, Oman, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

Competitors will race across six categories in the Rotax Max Challenge: Micro Max (ages 8–11), Mini Max (ages 10–13), Junior Max (ages 12–15), Senior Max (ages 14+), DD2 (ages 15+), and DD2 Masters (ages 31+). Additionally, the R390 Sprint and R390 Endurance categories will be open to drivers aged 15 and above.

Exciting Schedule and Fan Engagement

The event will kick off with administration and driver briefings on October 21. Practice sessions will take place on October 22 and 23, alongside a formal Welcome Ceremony and Gala Dinner. Racing activities will occur on October 24 and 25, featuring qualifying sessions, heats, the R390 Endurance race, Pre-Finals, and Finals. The championship will conclude with the Championship Awards and MENA Nations Cup Presentation on the evening of October 25.

Fans can enjoy free admission throughout the event, with a dedicated shuttle service operating between General Admission Parking and the karting track. Attendees will also have access to a vibrant entertainment zone, which will include racing simulators, a radio-controlled car circuit, PlayStation 5 gaming stations, and a 360-degree photo booth. For those unable to attend in person, all races will be streamed live on QMMF’s official YouTube channel.

Last year’s competition saw Lebanon claim the MENA Nations Cup title, followed by Morocco in second place and the UAE securing third. This year’s championship is set to build on that excitement, promising another exhilarating weekend of racing and national pride.
