Capture Holiday Joy: Enter the Magic Moments Photo Contest
The Otago Daily Times is inviting readers to participate in its annual Magic Moments photo competition, showcasing the best holiday memories captured on camera. The competition runs from December 26, 2025, to January 10, 2026, and aims to celebrate the joyful moments of the festive season.
Participants are encouraged to submit their favourite holiday photographs to delight friends and family while captivating the newspaper’s audience. Each participant may submit only one entry. The winning photos will be announced in the Otago Daily Times on January 12, 2026.
Exciting Prizes Await Winners
The competition offers enticing prizes for the top three entries. The first-place winner will receive a $100 voucher and an A3 canvas print of their winning photograph. The second-place winner will also be awarded an A3 canvas print of their submitted photo. The third prize consists of a puzzle featuring the iconic Dunedin Railway Station, a beloved landmark in the region.
Additionally, all participants whose photos are published in the competition will have the opportunity to take the original file to Jonathan’s Photo Warehouse in Dunedin for a free enlargement. This initiative adds further incentive to share cherished memories with the community.
How to Enter
Entries must be submitted by January 10, 2026. The competition not only highlights the creativity of participants but also brings the community together in celebration of shared experiences during the holiday season.
