The Otago Daily Times invites readers to participate in its Magic Moments competition, encouraging submissions of cherished holiday photographs. The contest runs from December 26, 2025, to January 10, 2026, providing an opportunity for individuals to share their most delightful memories with a wider audience.
Exciting Prizes Await Participants
Entrants can submit one photograph each, and the winning images will be featured in the Otago Daily Times on January 12, 2026. The competition offers attractive prizes for the top entries. The winner will receive a $100 voucher along with an A3 canvas print of their winning photograph. The second-place winner will also receive an A3 canvas print, while the third prize consists of a unique ODT puzzle depicting the iconic Dunedin Railway Station.
In addition to the main prizes, all participants whose photographs are published in the competition will benefit from an exclusive offer. They can present their original photo file at Jonathan’s Photo Warehouse in Dunedin to receive a complimentary enlargement of their image.

To enter the Magic Moments competition, simply submit your favorite holiday photo that encapsulates the spirit of the season. Entries will be accepted from December 26 until January 10, 2026, and should be sent to the Otago Daily Times following the guidelines provided on their website.
