Auckland FC Launches Bold New Kit for 2025/26 A-League Season

Auckland FC has officially launched their new kit for the upcoming 2025/26 A-League season, introducing a striking design at a high-profile event during New Zealand Fashion Week. The unveiling took place on Thursday at the Soul Bar in Auckland, featuring an impressive lineup of models that included not only Auckland FC players but also celebrated figures from New Zealand sports, such as ex-All Black Carlos Spencer, former Black Cap Jimmy Neesham, and ex-Silver Fern Courtney Tairi.
The new home shirt marks a significant departure from the design worn in the team’s inaugural season. The previous kit, characterized by its electric blue and black stripes, was a commercial success, leading to multiple re-orders from New Balance due to high demand. It quickly became a familiar sight across Auckland, from local playgrounds to shopping malls, as fans donned the shirt on match days at Go Media Stadium.
For the upcoming season, New Balance has opted for a predominantly black shirt adorned with electric blue pinstripes. This fresh look is expected to generate a range of reactions from supporters and fashion observers alike. The choice to shift from the vibrant stripes to a more understated design reflects a bold move by the club as it aims to establish a unique identity in the competitive landscape of the A-League.
The launch event, blending sports and fashion, not only showcased the new kit but also highlighted Auckland FC’s commitment to engaging with the community and promoting the sport through innovative marketing strategies. The collaboration with New Zealand Fashion Week demonstrates the club’s ambition to reach a wider audience and elevate its brand presence.
As the 2025/26 season approaches, anticipation is building among fans and players alike. The new kit is set to debut in the upcoming matches, where Auckland FC will look to make a strong impression both on and off the field. With this new design, the club aims to capture the spirit of its supporters while making a statement in the A-League.
