In response to the rumors, Palash’s cousin, Neeti Tak, took to her Instagram Stories, urging the public not to make hasty judgments. “Palash is going through a critical condition today; you all should not judge Palash as wrong without knowing the truth,” she emphasized. Neeti highlighted the need for compassion in light of the ongoing situation, stating, “Technology today has come much ahead of humans; that is why people should not judge Palash in the face of rumours… pray for him.”

According to a report by Hindustan Times, Palash is currently hospitalized in Mumbai, as confirmed by family sources. His sister, Palak Muchhal, also addressed the public on Instagram, reiterating the need for privacy during this difficult time. She stated, “Due to Smriti’s father’s health, Smriti and Palash’s wedding has been put on hold. We would request all of you to respect the privacy of the families during this sensitive time.”

The situation escalated when Palash himself was admitted to a hospital in Sangli shortly after the wedding was postponed. His mother, Amita Muchhal, revealed that the stress from the unfolding events affected Palash’s health significantly. “Since haldi was done, we didn’t let him go outside. He became unwell after crying. He had to stay in the hospital for four hours… everything was normal, but there is a lot of stress,” she shared.

Adding to the speculation, fans noticed that Smriti has removed all wedding-related posts from her Instagram account, which further fueled online discussions about their relationship.
