Warriors Aim for Top Four as Webster Names Unchanged Squad

The Warriors have retained their hopes for a top four finish in the NRL, as coach Andrew Webster announced an unchanged squad for their critical final home match of the regular season against the Parramatta Eels. The team, fresh off a convincing 32-18 victory over the Gold Coast Titans, will take the field at Go Media Stadium on Friday night, eager to secure their playoff position.
Webster has named an identical 22-man squad that triumphed against the Titans, reflecting confidence in his players as they approach the season’s climax. Notably, this match marks the 23rd consecutive appearance for key players such as Adam Pompey, Marata Niukore, Leka Halasima, and Erin Clark.
Pompey, aged 27, has played every minute of the Warriors’ games this season, totaling 662 minutes on the field. His endurance and performance have been crucial to the team’s success as they strive for a top-four finish.
The path is clear for the Warriors: win both of their remaining regular season matches and they will secure a coveted top-four spot. A single loss, however, would place their postseason destiny in the hands of their competitors, the Brisbane Broncos and Cronulla Sharks.
As the season approaches its conclusion, the pressure mounts for the Warriors. Fans will be eagerly watching to see if their team can maintain its form and achieve the playoff berth they are aiming for. The clash against the Eels will not only be a test of skill but also a demonstration of the Warriors’ resolve and determination as they look to solidify their standing in the league.
