Warriors Sign NRL Star Alofiana Khan-Pereira to Three-Year Deal

The New Zealand Warriors have secured the signing of Gold Coast winger Alofiana Khan-Pereira on a three-year contract, starting next season. Khan-Pereira, aged 23, has made a significant impact in the National Rugby League (NRL) with an impressive record of 53 tries in just 54 matches.
Khan-Pereira reached the milestone of 50 tries during his 52nd career match this season, equaling the record for the fastest half-century in the NRL era, previously set by Semi Radradra in 2016. His remarkable debut season in 2023 saw him score 20 tries in 23 appearances, establishing himself as a formidable force on the field.
In 2024, Khan-Pereira was the NRL’s top try scorer, amassing 24 tries in 21 games. Notably, he set a club record by scoring four tries in a single game during Gold Coast’s largest victory over the Warriors. Despite a shortened campaign this year, he maintained an impressive scoring rate, finding the try line nine times in just ten matches.
Andrew McFadden, the Warriors’ general manager of recruitment, pathways, and development, expressed enthusiasm about the addition of Khan-Pereira to their squad. “Lofi is an exciting addition to our squad for 2026,” he stated, highlighting the potential impact the young winger will have on the team’s future.
As the Warriors prepare for the next season, Khan-Pereira’s speed and scoring ability are expected to bolster their offensive strategy. The anticipation surrounding his arrival reflects the growing confidence in the Warriors’ direction as they aim to enhance their performance in the NRL.
The addition of Khan-Pereira not only brings a proven track record but also a youthful energy to the Warriors, who are keen to capitalize on his scoring prowess. As fans look forward to the upcoming season, the signing marks a significant step in the Warriors’ ambitions to compete at higher levels in the league.
