Breakers Defeat Taipans in Cairns for Vital NBL Victory
The Breakers secured a vital victory against the Taipans in Cairns, winning the match with a score of 99-87. This important result comes just before the FIBA break, allowing the Kiwi club to build momentum in the National Basketball League (NBL) season.
Key performances defined the game, with Sam Mennenga, Izaiah Brockington, and Parker Jackson-Cartwright leading the charge for the Breakers. Mennenga contributed significantly, scoring 25 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, showcasing his ability on both ends of the court.
