New Zealand Breakers Secure Third Consecutive Win Over Tasmania
The New Zealand Breakers continued their impressive run in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) with a decisive **99-86** victory over the Tasmania JackJumpers at Spark Arena in Auckland on **March 9, 2024**. This win marks the Breakers’ third consecutive victory and reinforces their position in the playoff race, improving their season record to **7-10**.
Strong performances from key players propelled the Breakers to victory. **Izaiah Brockington** led the scoring with **22 points**, while **Rob Baker II** contributed **18 points**. Tasmania Fights Back but Falls Short
The third quarter began with Tasmania’s **Josh Bannan** scoring **10 straight points**, yet the Breakers managed to retain a **10-point lead** going into the final period, with the score at **80-70**.
