Person Critically Injured on Auckland Road, Transported to Hospital
Emergency services responded to a serious incident last night in Howick, east Auckland, where an individual was found critically injured on Union Road. At approximately 22:40 on January 13, 2024, personnel from Hato Hone St John received a notification regarding the situation.
A spokesperson for Hato Hone St John confirmed that one ambulance and two rapid response vehicles were dispatched to the scene. They reported that one patient was transported to Middlemore Hospital in a critical condition.
The police were also contacted for further details about the incident. A police spokesperson indicated that the individual suffered a medical event prior to being taken to the hospital. Information regarding the identity of the injured person remains limited, and authorities have not released additional details at this time.
