Hamilton Police Investigate Homicide After Fatal Shooting
One person has died and another has sustained serious injuries following a violent incident in Hamilton on the evening of March 15, 2024. Police have initiated a homicide investigation after responding to reports of a serious injury at a residence on Lake Crescent at approximately 18:15.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim who had succumbed to their injuries at the scene. A second individual was found with a significant arm injury and has since been transported to Waikato Hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition.
