Actress Pooja Hegde has been confirmed as the lead actress opposite Dulquer Salmaan in the upcoming Telugu film tentatively titled DQ41. This highly anticipated project promises to deliver a contemporary love story infused with rich drama, with Hegde playing a pivotal role that has sparked considerable excitement among fans.
The film is under the direction of Ravi Nelakuditi and is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri as part of the SLV Cinemas banner. Notably, this marks the production house’s tenth venture, celebrated with the hashtag #SLV10. The official launch took place on August 4, 2023, during a traditional pooja ceremony held in Hyderabad. The event saw the attendance of prominent figures from the Telugu film industry, including the “Natural Star” Nani, who performed the ceremonial clap, along with directors Srikanth Odela and Buchi Babu Sana, as well as Gunnam Sandeep and Ramya Gunnam.
For Hegde, DQ41 signifies a much-anticipated return to Telugu cinema following a brief hiatus. Fans are particularly eager to witness her on-screen chemistry with Salmaan, marking their first collaboration together. This fresh pairing has already generated significant interest, adding to the film’s buzz.
Hegde continues to expand her portfolio beyond regional cinema. She is also preparing for her upcoming Bollywood release, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, where she stars alongside Varun Dhawan. Directed by David Dhawan, this romantic comedy is expected to showcase her in a lighthearted and charming role, further diversifying her acting repertoire.
With the combination of Dulquer Salmaan’s charisma, Pooja Hegde’s captivating screen presence, and Ravi Nelakuditi’s storytelling, expectations are soaring for DQ41. Early anticipation positions the film as one of the most awaited Telugu releases in the upcoming months, promising to deliver a compelling cinematic experience for audiences.
