Ryan Fox Invites New Partner for Mānuka Phuel Chasing The Fox
Ryan Fox is shaking up the format of his annual tournament, the Mānuka Phuel Chasing The Fox, by pairing with another top golfer. Set to take place on December 12, 2023, at the Royal Auckland and Grange Golf Club, this year’s event aims to heighten competition by introducing team play alongside individual performances.
For the past three years, Fox has concluded his season with a unique six-hole tournament, where he faced off against invited teams of three from diverse backgrounds. While he showcased impressive skills in the inaugural edition, it became increasingly evident that the challenge of winning as an individual in this format was substantial.
This year marks a significant change, as Fox will not be the only target for the competition. He will be joined by another international golfer, enhancing the competitive spirit of the event. Additionally, some of the spots that were previously allocated to individual participants will now welcome teams of two, creating a more collaborative environment.
The adjustments made to the Mānuka Phuel Chasing The Fox highlight Fox’s commitment to fostering excitement and engagement among players and spectators alike. By expanding the team aspect, the tournament promises to be a dynamic experience for all involved.
Participants and fans can anticipate a thrilling atmosphere as they watch teams work together to outplay Fox and his partner. This innovative approach not only elevates the competition but also encourages camaraderie among golfers from various disciplines and backgrounds.
As the date approaches, anticipation continues to build for what is expected to be a memorable event. The shift in format is expected to attract a larger audience, as both amateur and professional golfers vie for the title in an engaging and competitive setting.
With the Mānuka Phuel Chasing The Fox becoming a highlight on the golfing calendar, Fox’s new strategy to include a partner is sure to generate excitement among golf enthusiasts and participants alike.
