Saud Al Hadi and Jean-François Rondoux Triumph at Qatar Equestrian Tour
In a thrilling display of equestrian skill, Saud Al Hadi and Jean-François Rondoux emerged victorious during the showjumping events at the seventh leg of the Qatar Equestrian Tour Longines Hathab. The competition took place at the Longines Arena in Doha on October 30, 2023, showcasing the talents of riders across various categories.
Amateur Tour Highlights
The event’s second day featured the Amateur Tour, with a course height of 100 cm. Saud Al Hadi dominated the category, securing both first and second places with his horses, Doremi and Sisi. Al Hadi clocked impressive times of 19.91 seconds and 20.73 seconds, respectively. Mariam Abdulkarim Abdul claimed third place riding Beyonce, finishing in 21.62 seconds.
The podium winners were celebrated by Abdullah Al-Marri, the tournament director, who presented them with their awards in a ceremony that highlighted the achievements of the competitors.
Silver Tour Results
In the Silver Tour, which featured a course height of 130 cm, Jean-François Rondoux showcased his expertise aboard Good Flower, finishing with a time of 55.25 seconds. He was closely followed by Ismail Osama, who rode Kaduki to a time of 55.85 seconds, and Saad Ahmed Al Saad, who completed the course on Fashion in 55.91 seconds.
The awards for the Silver Tour were presented by Nasser Al-Hajri, an international judge, further emphasizing the event’s commitment to recognizing outstanding equestrian talent.
The Qatar Equestrian Tour Longines Hathab continues to attract top riders and audiences, solidifying its reputation as a premier event in the equestrian calendar. With their remarkable performances, Al Hadi and Rondoux have set a high bar for the remaining events in the series.
