European Leaders Reject Trump’s Ukraine Peace Plan Demands

European leaders and the United Nations have expressed strong reservations about a proposed peace plan for Ukraine put forth by former US President Donald Trump. The 28-point plan, which seeks to end the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, is perceived as heavily favoring Russia and includes significant concessions from Kyiv, including the relinquishment of substantial eastern territories and a reduction in its military capabilities.

In a recent statement, Russian President Vladimir Putin acknowledged receiving the plan from the United States, asserting that it could “lay the foundation” for a peace agreement.
