Exciting Racing Action Awaits at Invercargill’s Final Weekend of 2025
The last weekend of 2025 promises thrilling racing action as various motorsport events take to the track in Invercargill, New Zealand. Enthusiasts can look forward to two days featuring the **OSCA Super Saloons**, **2K Cup**, **South Island Formula Ford**, and **HVRA**, among other competitions.
Tickets for this exciting event are currently available for pre-sale at **E. Hayes & Sons** on Dee Street, Invercargill. A weekend pass is priced at **$35** if purchased in advance, while tickets at the gate will cost **$45**. Notably, children aged **14 years and under** can attend for free when accompanied by an adult.
As the final motorsport gathering of the year, this event sets the stage for an exhilarating start to **2026**. The **Repco NextGen NZ Championship** is scheduled to visit the circuit on the weekend of **January 24-25**, featuring a field of international drivers competing in the **Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Trophy races**. Fans can also anticipate the return of high-performance “big banger” saloons in the **TA2 class**.
Looking further ahead, the **Ascot Park Classic SpeedFest** is set for **February**, bringing another group of international competitors for the **Formula Junior races**. March will host the annual **Southern Thunder meeting**, showcasing **NZ Super Trucks** and **Mainland Muscle Cars**.
The Invercargill racing scene remains vibrant, offering fans an opportunity to witness top-tier motorsport events and international talent in action. This weekend’s event serves not only as a thrilling conclusion to the year but as a prelude to an exciting 2026 racing calendar.
