The Canterbury Cricket Super Smash season kicks off this January at Hagley Oval, offering cricket enthusiasts an exciting lineup of matches. Fans can enjoy double the action at each event, as one ticket grants access to both the Canterbury Magicians and Canterbury Kings games on select dates throughout the month.
The fixtures are set to provide an exhilarating atmosphere, showcasing local talent as well as competitive spirit. The matches are scheduled as follows:
January 1 features the Canterbury Magicians taking on the Central Hinds at 14:10, followed by the Canterbury Kings competing against the Central Stags at 17:55. The excitement continues on January 10 with the Magicians facing the Auckland Hearts at 14:10, and the Kings battling the Auckland Aces at 17:55.
On January 21, the Magicians will meet the Otago Sparks at 14:10, with the Kings going head-to-head against the Otago Volts at 17:55. The series of matches culminates on January 23 when the Magicians play against the Wellington Blaze at 14:10, followed by the Kings competing against the Wellington Firebirds at 17:55.
The final showdown occurs on January 25, featuring the Magicians battling the Northern Brave at 12:40, and the Kings taking on the Northern Brave in the men’s match at 16:25.
