Courteney Cox Embraces New Makeup Style Inspired by Daughter Coco
Actress Courteney Cox recently shared how her daughter, Coco Arquette, has significantly influenced her makeup style. At 61, the former star of the iconic TV series Friends has turned to her 21-year-old daughter for beauty advice, calling her “the coolest girl I know.”
In an interview with People Magazine, Cox revealed that Coco has taught her effective makeup techniques, particularly how to apply blusher. “She shows me how to do makeup really simply,” Cox explained. “She taught me how to wear blush. I thought blush was over here [on my cheekbones] and it’s really more on the apples of your cheek.”
Beauty Evolution Through Generational Wisdom
Cox also expressed admiration for her daughter’s eyebrows, noting, “She has the most beautiful eyebrows ever; they’re just gorgeous.” Reflecting on her own past beauty choices, the actress mentioned, “When I look back at pictures from 10, 20 years ago, I had minute eyebrows for much longer than when it was in fashion.”
In contrast, Cox appreciates the current trend of thicker eyebrows, which Coco has embraced. “One of the things I like now is thicker eyebrows like hers,” she added, showcasing how beauty standards evolve over time.
Cox’s candid remarks highlight the power of intergenerational influence in beauty and style. As trends continue to shift, the actress finds herself adopting a more minimalist approach, guided by her daughter’s modern sensibilities.
This relationship dynamic not only illustrates the bond between mother and daughter but also serves as a reminder of how beauty advice can transcend age, offering fresh perspectives on self-expression.
As Cox continues to navigate the world of beauty, she expresses gratitude for Coco’s guidance, stating, “She’s the coolest girl I know.” This sentiment exemplifies the admiration and respect that can flourish between family members, regardless of age.
In an industry often driven by youthful trends, Courteney Cox’s willingness to learn from her daughter underscores a broader message: beauty is not solely defined by age but is also shaped by individual experiences and familial connections.
